An exclusive run of just three McLaren 720S cars are set to hit Australian shores later this year.
Three Daniel Ricciardo Edition models were specially commissioned by McLaren Special Operations in collaboration with dealerships in Melbourne and Sydney.
The limited-edition car celebrates the Australian’s victory at the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix earlier this month.

It was a result which ended a nine-year drought for the world championship winning team, and a three-year wait for Ricciardo.
“Daniel Ricciardo’s relentless determination and pursuit of excellence are qualities that perfectly reflect the McLaren ethos,” said George Biggs, commercial executive director of McLaren Automotive.
“Following McLaren’s outstanding performance with a landmark one-two finish for the team at the Italian Grand Prix, it’s the perfect time to reveal this limited series in celebration of the Aussie driver.
“The 720S is a fitting model to celebrate Daniel’s achievements and we’re delighted to see it adorned with the Australian flag crafted by MSO.”
Each car will be emblazoned with a stylised number ‘3’, reflecting the design used on Ricciardo’s MCL35M F1 car.
The papaya paintwork also sports an Australian flag on its front haunches, alongside blue highlighted wing mirrors.
“One of the great privileges of driving for McLaren is getting behind the wheel of many of the brand’s exhilarating supercars and while each offers something unique, the 720S is the absolute benchmark,” Ricciardo said.
The McLaren 720S was originally released in 2017, with variants including an open-top Spider.
It sports a twin-turbo V8 engine originally designed for racing before being reworked into a high-performance road car unit.
The 4.0-litre engine produces 530kW of power and 770Nm of torque, hooked up to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Pricing on the Daniel Ricciardo Edition has not yet been announced.
