Nissan has revealed full details of its long-awaited Patrol Warrior, the second collaboration between the car company and local engineering firm, Premcar. It follows the successful Navara Warrior programs and expands the appeal of Nissan’s Toyota LandCruiser rival.
Key technical changes deployed by Premcar include a unique wheel, tyre and suspension package that provides a 50mm lift for more ground clearance, re-worked Hydraulic Body Motion Control suspension system, redesigned tow bar, a bi-modal exhaust and 2.5mm red bash plate.
“Australia is a unique country, with unique conditions and many highly informed new-car buyers who demand a 4WD that’s engineered for our vast and rugged landscape,” explained Bernie Quinn, Premcar Engineering Director.

Premcar is the same engineering firm that dates back through Prodrive Australia, Ford Performance Vehicles and Tickford Vehicle Engineering, so it brings decades of experience developing cars for Australian conditions.
