Sydney Sweeney isn’t your typical petrolhead. She’s a star of television and film and is brand ambassador for Armani Beauty, but in her spare time she loves working on her vintage cars.
Specifically, her 1965 Ford Mustang and ‘69 Ford Bronco, which is why she has also partnered with the Ford Motor Company. Having come to prominence in the drama series, Euphoria, Sweeney’s profile was elevated during the COVID-19 pandemic when she created a TikTok channel – @Syds_Garage – to share her working on the Bronco. That led to a deal with Ford and Dickies to create a line of workwear and now the two companies have teamed up on their biggest project yet – giving away a custom-designed 2024 Mustang.
In case you’re thinking this is just a PR stunt, Sweeney comes from a family of mechanics and her TikTok account is filled with videos of her personally working on her Fords.

Sweeney worked with Ford to personalise the latest generation of the pony car while taking inspiration directly from her ‘65 ‘Stang, finishing the exterior in Robin’s Egg Blue with a crushed glass clear coat and fitting 20-inch chrome wheels.
Inside there’s a unique leather trim and the car is highlighted by the ‘Ford x Sydney Sweeney’ heart bolt logo created for the workwear line. This image appears on the front fenders, sill plates, dashboard and is embossed into the seats. Sweeney’s signature also appears on the 5.0-litre V8 engine.
Ford will only build two examples of this specification, one for Sweeney to keep and one to be given away in a competition – which is sadly only open to US residents.
Still, the final result of her design is a stylish mix of past and present and underlines her passion for cars.
“It’s heartening to see Ford celebrate individuals who are pushing past stereotypes to do what they love,” Sweeney said. “That’s why I was so excited to work with Ford on designing my dream car, and I can’t wait to surprise someone special with a matching vehicle.”
