Fernando Alonso has impressed in Formula 1 testing with his new team, Aston Martin. And the British brand is wasting little time utilising the two-time world champion to help promote its road cars.
Aston Martin has released a short video featuring Alonso behind the wheel of the brand’s ultimate SUV – the DBX707. While technically an SUV in size, the DBX707 is a high-performance vehicle, with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 punching out a whopping 519kW of power and 900Nm of torque.

That’s enough for this five-door model to sprint 0-100km/h in just 3.3 seconds, which makes it quicker than Aston Martin’s own sports car, the Vantage, which takes 3.6 seconds.
