As Australians go off-roading in record numbers and look for increasingly more capable vehicles, the tyres need to keep up. Which is why BFGoodrich has introduced a new tyre called the K03, designed specifically to get you across the roughest terrain.
Replacing the K02, the BFGoodrich AllTerrain T/A KO3 tyre (to give it its full name) has a new tread pattern and increased durability over its predecessor. According to the company the new design has an “optimized footprint and full-depth 3D locking sipes” that help provide more even wear and increase longevity.
“BFGoodrich Tyres’ legendary toughness has been made tougher with the creation of the All-Terrain KO3 tyre,” said Harold Phillips, BFGoodrich Global General Manager. “We’ve done a lot of racing and research in the 10 years since we launched the KO2 tyre, so a decade of data, feedback, technology and experience went into the development of the KO3 tyre. We are our own competition, and we knew it was time to take the all-terrain tyre to another level. It will be exciting to see what consumers will do – at work and at play – with the KO3 tyre.”
To meet the diverse demands of the Australian market, BFGoodrich Australia will introduce 38 sizes of the K03 by the end of 2024 and have a total of 60 options available within the next two years.
