Set high up on a mountainside and designed by the same firm behind most modern Formula 1 circuits, this newly opened circuit is one of the most picturesque in the world.
But you’ll never watch a race from it.
That’s because this track is The Magarigawa Club, a member’s only facility in Japan that joins the growing list of private circuits around the world. These private playgrounds have become increasingly opulent in recent years as the demand for high-end facilities to unleash the world’s supercars grows. And this one may be one of the best, with the entire venue – not just the track – nothing short of spectacular.
The 22 corner, 3.5km circuit snakes its way around the top of the mountain, with near-vertical rock faces in several sports providing amazing visuals. The track was designed by Hermann Tilke’s company, the same designer behind the Bahrain International Circuit, Circuit of the Americas and Yas Marina.
As you’ll see in the video below, the off-track facilities are just as impressive as the track. There’s accommodation, entertainment spaces, indoor and outdoor kids playgrounds and even a pool.
Magarigawa Club has actually been open since the middle of 2023 but released this video highlighting its amazing facilities this week. Check it out below and start saving your dollars because membership reportedly costs more than $250,000.
