Ford Mustang recalled

Ford Australia has recalled 4955 examples of the current 'S650'-generation Mustang, owing to a windscreen wiper fault affected 2024 to 2026 model year variants.

"Due to a manufacturing defect, the windshield washing system may become inoperable and the wipers may only function at the high-speed setting," Ford's recall notice reads.

"This could lead to poor visibility for the driver in certain conditions.

"Poor visibility may increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users."

A list of Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) for the 4955 affected Ford Mustangs can be found here.

Ford will contact owners of affected vehicles in writing to request they contact an authorised Ford dealer to arrange inspection and repair, free of charge.

For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford Customer Relationship Centre on 13 FORD (13 3673).
