Toyota RAV4 gets quintessential Australian upgrade
The latest generation of Toyota’s RAV4 might be hybrid-only, but that doesn’t mean there’s no aftermarket support for those who live outside of the city.
Toyota’s newest RAV4 is the first iteration of the popular SUV to only be sold as a hybrid in Australia, owing to the success of the powertrain, particularly for families or taxis/rideshare operators driving within the city.
Given Toyota’s reputation for toughness, it’s understandable that the RAV4 will commonly also find itself in rural and remote areas where larger 4x4s dominate, and where animal strikes are far more likely to occur.
Because of this, Tuff Australia has released a new Alloy Aerostyle Bullbar for the new RAV4 GX and GXL, providing it with greater protection for motorists travelling across roads with a high risk of animals wandering onto the tarmac.

It’s not the first time the brand has made a bullbar for the RAV4, currently listing one for every generation of the SUV except for its first two iterations.
Available in a polished alloy, black ripple powder coat or antique silver finish, Tuff Australia is yet to list a price for the RAV4’s bullbar, though interested customers can get a quote online.
