Is Valtteri Bottas clearing some space for a new company car? The Finnish F1 ace has put his Mercedes-AMG GT up for sale – and the car is only part of what the lucky buyer will get.
Bottas has been at Mercedes-AMG’s F1 team since 2017 but is out-of-contract at the end of the season and there are rumours he’s under pressure to retain his seat. It’s unclear why the Finn is selling his German sports coupe, but for whatever reason he’s off-loading it the car is in good condition.
The 2018 model GT only has 16,000km on the odometer and is finished in ‘Brilliant Blue Metallic’. Given his connections, it’s likely it’s had regular services and is in good running order.
Bottas is asking €190,000 (approx. $295,000) and that doesn’t just get you the car. The nine-time grand prix winner will personally handover the keys and take the new owner go-karting in his hometown – Lahti, Finland.
Bottas isn’t the first F1 ace to have a garage sale. Earlier this year Sebastian Vettel put up a large part of his fleet, including a number of iconic Ferraris as well as a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
