How you can ride in a V8 supercar at Queensland Raceway
Set to host the next round of the Supercars Championship, Queensland Raceway has a program to let punters ride in a V8 Chevrolet around the track.
Not everyone gets to see what it’s like to go at full-tilt around a Supercars track, but Queensland Raceway is giving more of the public a chance to do so with its unique passenger ride experience.
The Corvette Hot Lap Experience was set up earlier this year in association with local dealership Llewellyn Motors, who have supplied a V8-powered Chevrolet Corvette C8 for the package.
Available during weekdays when the circuit isn’t hosting major racing events, the $299 package gives passengers two laps alongside an experienced race driver around the fast ‘Paperclip’ circuit.
Pre-booking is essential and can be done by calling Queensland Raceway on 07 5461 9100, with the experience able to be booked as a gift too.
