Stop one of the inaugural RIDE OUT Moto Weekends calendar will go down as an event to remember, with the on-bike action matched by an enjoyment-packed, family-friendly experience in Wangaratta, VIC, to open proceedings in 2022.
RIDE OUT Moto Weekends have been introduced to encourage a collective riding environment that caters for all levels of riding capabilities, while also offering test rides of current MY22 KTM enduro and motocross models. And it’s the welcoming vibe by day and into the night that caps it all off!
The Victorian event took place at the beginning of this month and exceeded expectations, featuring two nights of camping, banter by fireside and a whole bunch of recreational riding across the weekend on a mapped out enduro loop, grass-track, hillclimb and a kids track exclusive to those in attendance.

RIDE OUT Moto Weekends are about getting back to the basics and the spirit of dirt bike riding, which is exactly what took place in Wangaratta to make for a weekend that had everybody buzzing with excitement. The element of rider coaching added to the occasion, as did mechanical advice, test rides, partner stalls, live music, American-style BBQ and broader catering options.
It was a special chance for entire families to get involved in the fun, as parents took the opportunity to ride with their daughters and sons, plus new mates were made both young and old, all with the like-minded passion for getting out for a weekend on and amongst dirt bikes together.
Next up for the RIDE OUT Moto Weekends will be Cooby Dam in Queensland, scheduled for 24-26 June. Capped at 200 riders in total, places are limited and registrations are open now! Visit this link online for complete details and to secure your place today.
Also stay tuned for dates and location in New South Wales to be announced.
Rosie Lalonde (KTM Group Marketing Manager): “The first RIDE OUT Moto Weekend was everything that we had hoped for – and more! It was an unreal weekend for not just the riding, but also the vibe of getting together with friends and family and having a laugh. It was really chilled out and cool to see riders from total beginner up to skilled pros all enjoying the different tracks and taking advantage of what was on offer, like the free coaching or demo rides of 2022 models. Plus the movie night on Friday night brought everyone together, with the American BBQ topping it off on Saturday night – I mean, who doesn’t love good food! But seeing families out enjoying motorcycles together was the purpose of putting on these events and the smiles around the campfire definitely proving that it hit the mark. Now we just can’t wait for the next one!”
