Historic supercars, muscle cars on display at The Bend Classic
This year’s edition of The Bend Classic will see numerous iconic cars being showcased by the circuit, as well as historic race cars on track and country music in the paddock.
The Bend Motorsport Park is gearing up for this year’s The Bend Classic festival, announcing it will put some famous metal at its Welcome Centre for patrons to view.
Running from October 1 to 4 at the South Australian circuit, visitors will be able to see a curated display of cars when entering The Bend, including TV-inspired star cars such as the Ferrari 308 GTS from Magnum PI, and the ‘General Lee’ Dodge Charger from Dukes of Hazzard.
Other classics will also be on show, such as a Ferrari Dino and F40, Lamborghini Miura, Jaguar E-Type, Chevrolet Corvette C2, Ford Mustang, and Aston Martin DB5.
In addition to the Welcome Centre display, the festival will provide plenty of action on and off the track.
On-track there will be historic touring cars as well as open-wheelers such as vintage F5000s and Formula Fords, plus a handful of other classes.
Elsewhere in the precinct there will be a rodeo on October 2 and a country music concert on October 3, headlined by Lee Kernaghan and James Johnston.
