Toy Story likely doesn’t need the help of Porsche to promote its upcoming fifth installment, but it’s not every day the German sports car icon reveals a trio of special 911s to commemorate an event.

Ahead of Toy Story 5 being released in cinemas, Porsche’s North American division revealed three distinct 911s, each which will remain as one-offs and paying tribute to Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear.

The three cars have been designed and made to be sold, with proceeds going to charities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and Starlight Children’s Foundation.

To honour Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Porsche had no other choice than to pick the big-winged 911 GT3 RS as its base, hinting at the space ranger’s pop-out wings.

Finished in a white, green, and purple livery to match that of Buzz’s space suit, Porsche also added special details such as the space ranger logo to the wheel’s centre caps, while even its Goodyear tyres were remodeled to incorporate the ‘Lightyear’ name.

Inside, the door sill guards feature Buzz’s catchphrase “To Infinity and Beyond”, while the seats, door trims and dashboard are upholstered in Pebble Grey leather and Arctic Grey Race-Tex, contrasted by the upper seats featuring Violeta leather.

In the case of the Woody 911, it was based on the Carrera T, the only manual version of the non-GT 911s currently on sale.

Finished in a custom colour designed to mimic the cowboy’s denim jeans – including the texture of them – Porsche added Fire Red graphics with Woody’s name on them, while it also rides on custom wheels.

Porsche utilised a brown vintage leather inside the cabin, designed to look like a toy which has been worn out over the years, which is teamed with Dark Night Blue leather, and cowhide-pattern floor mats.

Like the Buzz car, the Woody 911 gets special sill plates with his catchphrase, “Ride Like the Wind!”

Finally, Jessie’s 911 is a Targa 4 GTS, getting its own custom Jessie White Metallic paintwork, inspired by her shirt’s pearl buttons.

Its front and rear details as well as its lower side panels feature 44 Cobalt Blue Metallic, while the upper part of the front boot and rear engine cover are highlighted in Atacama Yellow, adorned with GTS Red pinstriping.

Both the mirror caps and targa tops are the same red as Jessie’s hat, while the custom wheels also stand out. The ‘targa’ name on the top bar now wears Jessie’s name.

Inside, there’s a mix of custom-made leather in Dark Night Blue, Bordeaux Red and Pebble Grey, as well as denim-look fabric, matching Woody’s blue hues. To cap it off, the sill plates are illuminated, showing ‘Yee Haw!’ on them.

It’s not the first time Porsche has collaborated with Disney-Pixar, having created a one-off ‘Sally Carrera’ (from the film Cars) tribute 911 Carrera 4 GTS, which sold at auction in 2022 for US$3.6 million.
