Supercheap Auto partnerships: ‘1000 Bathursts’ sponsorship, Supercheap Auto Bathurst Netball Association, Supercheap Auto Bathurst Wildcard entry, Triple Eight Race Engineering sponsorship and the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series

In the lead up to this year’s ‘Great Race’, Supercheap Auto has released a cheeky new campaign, proudly announcing they’ve found a new sponsor: 1000 Bathursts.

The campaign follows Supercheap Auto spokesperson Nathan Murray’s journey through the town of Bathurst as he introduces us to the new sponsors including the Supercheap Auto Mowerland and Heating, the Supercheap Auto Bathurst Bakery, the Supercheap Auto Bathurst U13 netball team, and many more.

In addition to the new campaign, Supercheap Auto have increased their presence in the Bathurst 1000 race, headlined with a Wildcard (#39) entry.

Drivers Broc Feeney and Russell Ingall will be youngest and oldest combination in the field with their car adorning Australian-owned Supercheap Auto colours.

Feeney will be undertaking double duties throughout the event, as he aims to win his madien Super2 Series title in the #888 Supercheap Auto-supported Holden ZB Commodore.

The Red Bull Ampol Racing Team have already claimed the 2021 Supercars Drivers and Teams’ Championships, the first for Supercheap Auto. Jamie Whincup, in his final full-time race start, will pair up with Craig Lowndes (#88) while 2020 Bathurst 1000 champions, Shane van Gisbergen and Garth Tander (#97), are looking to go back-to-back winners.

The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series will also bring Mount Panorama to life with the turbo-charged racing versions of the high selling ‘C Hatch’ segment on track from Tuesday 30th November.

Chaz Mostert holds a 106-point lead over second place Luke King in the battle for the inaugural ‘Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series’ title.

The first Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series public event was also held on Monday 29th November at Supercheap Auto Bathurst, kick starting a mega six days of proceedings.

Supercheap Auto Managing Director Benjamin Ward added: “There is no bigger fan of the Bathurst 1000 than Supercheap Auto. We have been part of the Bathurst fabric for 16 years and it only makes sense that the next stage of our journey is to thank those people who have stood alongside us on the Mountain for all that time.”

“The ‘1000 Bathursts’ campaign is an example of Supercheap Auto supporting local businesses and the community.

“In addition, we’re excited to reunite with our fans at the mountain with the Supercheap Auto TCR Series, the Supercheap Auto Bathurst Wildcard entry with the ‘Enforcer and The Kid’ as well as through our Triple Eight partnership”.

The ‘1000 Bathursts’ campaign airs from Tuesday 30th November across TV, social, online and in-store across Australia and New Zealand.

The Bathurst 1000 event began Tuesday 30th November and runs through to Sunday 5th December.
