Motorcycling New South Wales has put out an open call to fill its board.
In a rare opportunity for the wider two-wheeled community, the state’s peak body has decided to completely renew its board of directors and is opening the applications to any motorcycle supporter interested in helping.
Motorsport presenter and two-wheel fanatic, Kate Peck, has recently taken on the role of president of Motorcycling New South Wales, and wants to create a new “diverse and complementary” board to help her lead the industry – both on the road and track – across the next few years. There are five board positions open for application and Peck said she would like to get a cross-section of the motorcycle riding community, so has encouraged anyone interested or passionate about bikes to apply.
“This is a unique and exciting opportunity – the chance to join me as a Director on the Board of MNSW,” Peck explained. “You will have a first-hand impact on bringing Motorcycling in the great state of NSW, into the future. That future is bright – new racing facilities, a focus on diversity, and endless potential for the growth and development of our dynamic sport and its dedicated and enthusiastic community. Do something the next generation of moto nuts will thank you for – apply now.”
Peck said applicants only need to be a member of one of Motorcycling NSW’s 111 affiliated clubs – or join one – and submit their details by September 14 for consideration.
