For more than three decades, Jeremy Clarkson was best known for being a presenter of automotive TV shows, a reign which came to an end in 2024 when he, James May and Richard Hammond ended their 21-year partnership.

While Clarkson has continued with his love of cars, any chance of the former Top Gear and The Grand Tour host fronting another vehicular program seemed slim – until now.

Announced by Clarkson and Amazon’s Prime Video overnight, cars are set to once again star alongside the famed presenter in an upcoming special of Clarkson’s Farm, the hit show which launched in 2021, showing the day-to-day operation of his UK farm.

Titled ‘Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson's Farm Special’, a preview image for the program shows Clarkson fitting new body panels to a Jaguar F-Type, surrounded by a “mood room” of inspiring photos.

It’s been a while since Clarkson has modified a car on camera, with arguably his most famous creation being the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust (first named Geoff) from Top Gear’s season 14, which was made with Hammond and May.

Though few details have been revealed, Clarkson confirmed in a separate post that it would be a Jaguar – coinciding with yesterday’s unveiling of the Jaguar Type 01 EV – while he recently told fellow farmer and automotive expert Harry Metcalfe that he wanted to fit a wider body kit on his F-Type convertible.

Prime Video is yet to release a trailer for Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson's Farm Special’, which it says will launch on the streaming platform in 2027.
