The Grand Tour trailer released ahead of September 4 debut
Less than a month away from its return to screens, Amazon Prime has released its first trailer for the latest season of The Grand Tour.
The Grand Tour is under one month away from returning to Amazon Prime, and now we’ve got our first look at the returning show.
Set to air on September 4, it will be the seventh season of the show which started in 2016, though original presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are no longer a part of it.
Instead, Thomas Holland and James Engelsman (from automotive YouTube channel Throttle House), and Francis Bourgeois (famous for his train-spotting videos but also a renowned revhead) will host the latest season, which appears to be continuing on where Clarkson, Hammond and May left off.

The short teaser trailer includes a mix of old cars – such as the Volvo 240 wagon, Lexus LS400, Ford Crown Victoria, Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, Porsche 911 996, and a BMW E46 convertible – as well as a handful of modern supercars, suggesting the classic ‘challenges’ will return alongside reviews.
The new iteration of The Grand Tour will still be executive produced by Andy Wilman, who led the revival of ‘Top Gear’ and is a long-time collaborator with Clarkson – the latter of whom has given the new presenters his blessing and endorsement.
As previously reported, the new season will feature six episodes, and see the trio travel across the world to explore automotive cultures, following a familiar formula.
