The Supercheap Auto Bathurst wildcard of Russell Ingall and Broc Feeney will start The Great Race from 15th position on Sunday after today’s qualifying session at Bathurst.
The #39 Triple Eight Race Engineering Holden ZB Commodore had both Feeney and Ingall in the car at different times during both Practice 3 and Practice 4 with solid times posted.
Feeney took the wheel during the qualifying session and after registering a solid time of 2:04:8273, the Supercheap Auto car finished the session in 15th position.
The team will look to use both practice five and six tomorrow to fine tune the car in preparation for Sunday’s 161-lap race.
The Bathurst 1000 race will take place this Sunday, starting at 12:15pm (AEDT).
