BMW is bringing its Nürburgring special editions to Australia
The BMW M collection of ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring Edition’ M2s, M3s, M4s and M5s has been locked in for Australia, with pricing confirmed.
BMW’s celebration of the Nürburgring circuit turning 100 is coming to Australia, with just 16 special edition M performance models locked in for a local launch.
Announced for the world in September, the BMW M 100 Jahre Nürburgring editions mark a century of the circuit’s operations in 2027, and have been wheeled out not only across the brand’s road cars but also its Motorrad motorbikes.
While the global launch includes the BMW M2, M3 sedan, M3 Touring wagon, M4 coupe, M5 sedan and M5 Touring wagon, BMW Australia has announced just the M2 xDrive, M3 Competition xDrive sedan, M4 Competition xDrive coupe and M5 sedan will score the special tribute.

All vehicles feature unique roof treatments, special liveries consisting of “100 Years” and “Nürburgring since 1927” logos, as well as unique green colour schemes which on some examples extends to the kidney grille and wheels.
The M2 xDrive 100 Jahre Nürburgring Edition is priced from $155,800 before on-road costs ($22,700 more than the base M2 xDrive) and is limited to six examples in Australia.
It adds black M brake calipers, an M Alcantara steering wheel with a white 12 o’clock marker and white/green contrast stitching, a unique cupholder cover, special head restraints, and M seats with green, black and white contrast stitching.

Stepping up to the larger BMW M3 Competition xDrive 100 Jahre Nürburgring Edition sedan brings a price of $210,800 plus on-roads (up $23,400), with just four examples set to be brought to Australia.
A distinctive colour scheme of Jet Black wheels with Nürburgring Green highlight its exterior, as do its large decals. Inside the cabin it also scores an M Alcantara steering wheel with white/green contrast stitching, as well as bi-colour black/white M seats with green, black and white stitching.
Its coupe sibling in the M4 100 Jahre Nürburgring Edition starts from $215,800 before on-road costs (also an increase of $23,400), and will likewise be limited to just four examples, with effectively the same enhancements as the M3.

Finally, BMW will bring just two M5 100 Jahre Nürburgring Editions to Australia, both of which are priced from $280,800 (up $17,400).
With one finished in BMW Individual Nürburgring Green and the other in Black Sapphire metallic, both feature a specific edition-only roof, green-accented wheels, unique door sill trims, and the white/black/green interior colour combination.
Of the 16 cars coming to Australia, half will be painted in BMW Individual Nürburgring Green, and the other half in Black Sapphire metallic.

There are no added performance upgrades to any of the 100 Jahre Nürburgring Edition BMW M cars.
