Fresh from taking a spin in the Ford Mustang Supercar in Detroit, Daniel Ricciardo finished his tour of the Blue Oval's Detroit headquarters with a sneak peek at the company's next electric performance hero.
Ford CEO Jim Farley posted a picture on Twitter revealing the front corner of the company's next electric “performance demonstrator”, which is based on the F-150 Lightning pickup truck. While it's only a small glimpse of the new model, it appears to be in the company's current white-and-blue Ford Performance livery, similar to the Gen3 Mustang test car.
This new F-150 Lightning show car joins the Mustang Mach-E 1400 and Supervan4 in the stable of electric vehicles the company has built to show off its future design and performance capabilities.
Stay tuned for more details when the car is revealed in full.
