This is Ford’s all-new Everest and beneath its bold new looks lurks a new V6 engine to power it into the future.
Just like the 2022 Ford Ranger it shares much of its mechanical DNA with, the Everest will be powered by a new 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel or a 2.0-litre twin-turbo four-cylinder diesel. And as is the case with the Ranger, the blue oval isn’t giving away power and torque details just yet.
What we do know is there is a new line-up structure, with the range-topping model now known as the Platinum (instead of Titanium) with the Trend and entry-level Ambiente beneath it. The Sport model that began as a limited edition run will now be a permanent member of the Everest family.
Full details, pricing and specifications for the Everest will be revealed closer to it hitting showrooms later this year.
