Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is growing a reputation for producing some special models – and the latest is this stunning 911 Sport Classic.
Inspired by the Sport Classic from the 1960s and the iconic ‘72 911 Carrera RS 2.7, this latest limited edition of just 1250 examples combines retro looks with the latest and greatest mechanical package.

The highlights of this new special include the wide body kit (which is typically reserved for the 911 Turbo models), the classic ‘ducktail’ spoiler and ‘double-bubble’ roof. Under the surface the Sport Classic gets the 3.7-litre twin-turbo flat-six from the 911 Turbo. It’s tuned to make 405kW of power, paired to a seven-speed manual transmission and sends all that grunt to the rear wheels.
The suspension package is based on the set-up found in the 911 Turbo and GTS models, including Porsche Active Suspension Management.

“The Heritage Design models represent the most emotionally driven concepts of the Porsche product strategy,” explained Alexander Fabig, Vice President Individualization and Classic.
“This unique approach sees the Style Porsche design department working with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur to reinterpret iconic 911 models and equipment from the 1950s through to the 1980s and to revive design features from those decades.”
Torquecafe understands only 10-20 examples of the 911 Sport Classic will be available to Australian customers. It will be priced from $599,100 (plus on-road costs) but the lucky new owners will have to wait until at least December until cars begin arriving in the country.
